Philadelphia rolls out the rainbow carpet to celebrate LGBTQ Pride Month with a lively parade and festival happening Sunday, June 9. The PrideDay LGBT Parade and Festival is now in its 31st year, and 2019 gives revelers something extra to recognize: the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots, the multi-day protest that’s credited with skyrocketing the LGBTQ rights revolution.



The inspiration for barber Jacque’ Scott’s (better known as ‘Sci-Fi’) unique shop was the children’s movIe, Toy Story, specifically, the scenes in the space-themed restaurant, Pizza Planet.



From a custom built UFO reception desk to an in-house theater, this is not your typical barber shop. At Another Planet, owner Jacque Scott is taking the hair cutting experience to new heights, drawing clients from all walks of life, including celebrities.
